Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Policy

  1. Purpose
    BSG Finance Pvt. Ltd. is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all employees. The Company follows a zero-tolerance approach towards sexual harassment and ensures equal opportunity without discrimination. This policy is aligned with the Sexual Harassment of any Employee at Workplace Act, 2013.
  2. Applicability
    This policy applies to all women employees, including outsourced staff, and covers incidents occurring within or outside the workplace related to company activities.
  3. What is Sexual Harassment?
    Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome behavior such as:
  • Physical contact or advances
  • Requests for sexual favours
  • Sexually inappropriate remarks, messages, or gestures
  • Showing offensive content
  • Any conduct creating an unsafe or uncomfortable work environment

This also applies to interactions with third parties.

    The Company will:
  • Prevent and address all cases of harassment
  • Ensure a fair, unbiased, and timely investigation
  • Create awareness and promote a respectful workplace
  • Take strict action against any violations
  1. POSH Committee
    A dedicated committee is formed to handle complaints confidentially and fairly. It ensures proper investigation and resolution of all reported cases.
  2. Confidentiality
    All complaints and proceedings will be handled with strict confidentiality.
  3. How to File a Complaint
  • Complaints can be submitted within 3 months of the incident

  • The complainant will be heard and supported throughout the process
  1. Resolution Process
  • Both parties will be given a fair chance to present their case
  • The committee will complete the inquiry within 90 days
  • A report with recommendations will be submitted to management
  1. Action & Penalties
    Based on findings, actions may include:
  • Warning or apology
  • Salary/bonus hold
  • Denial of promotion
  • Termination of employment
    Legal action may also be taken if required.
  1. Protection Against Retaliation
    The Company ensures protection of the complainant and witnesses from any form of retaliation or discrimination.
  1. Policy Updates
    The Company may update this policy as per legal or organizational requirements.
